Construction materials testing and field inspections help to determine the conformance of materials and products to job and product specifications.  This helps prevent costly mistakes resulting from the use of substandard materials or unsatisfactory materials installation.

TEC Services maintains and experienced staff qualified to provide full service masonry testing and field inspection. TEC Services has performed quality assurance testing for block, cement, and aggregate producers, building owners, and contractors.  Concrete block sampling and testing, masonry mortar testing, grout placement and prism testing are just some services we can provide.

TEC Services brings a wide-range of experience in materials engineering evaluation, testing and inspection to every project.  TEC Services engineers will apply their knowledge to help you conduct the appropriate tests and select the appropriate materials and methods to complete your project.

TEC Services’ laboratory is approved and/or inspected by AMRL (AASHTO Materials Reference Laboratory), CCRL (Cement and Concrete Reference Laboratory) and the approved list for US Army Corps of Engineers test laboratories for concrete and masonry testing.  Our laboratory accreditations include: ISO 17025, AASHTO R18 and we are an approved laboratory for the US Army Corps of Engineers.

TEC Services’ employees are active members in ACI, ASTM, ICRI, FRCA, ASCE and SWRI.  Several TEC employees are current or past committee members, committee chairs, board members and presidents of the above mentioned organizations local and national chapters.  TEC Services works closely with ASTM in the development of aggregate, concrete and masonry test methods, testing guidelines and specifications.
